The Mediteam family doctor’s practice in Gampelen is part of the Medbase Group since January 2023 and will be run under the name Medbase Gampelen. The previous focus of the medical center will remain unchanged.
We combine basic medical care and diagnostics with therapy and prophylaxis in a single practice at the center of Gampelen. Our competent team comprises specialist doctors for general internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, gynecology, pediatrics and youth medicine, psychiatry, and psychotherapy.
Cardiology deals with diseases of the heart and their consequential risk factors. This includes, among other things, hypertension, heart valve defects, circulatory disorders of the heart (coronary heat disease), heart failure, various forms of diseases of the heart muscle (cardiomyopathy) and numerous other diseases.
Accurately diagnosing your pain is of paramount importance in our chiropractic care. This includes pinpointing the tissues causing the pain as well as analyzing the static and dynamic mechanisms that are overloading the affected area. Once we have made our diagnosis, we will discuss the prognoses and treatment options with you. With the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal problems, we place great importance on multidisciplinary cooperation.

Women who would also like to have children but have so far been unable to conceive may also come for a consultation. Obstetrics is concerned with the monitoring and supervision of pregnancies.

The interdisciplinary organisation of our Medical Center ensures this.
Process
The patient formulates their goals together with their general practitioner and, if required, other experts. This process is repeated together with the patient in an annual GP follow-up. The goal setting is followed by an action catalogue, which is also developed together with the patient.
