Gynecology, also known as women’s medicine, deals with the onset and treatment of diseases of the female genital tract. Precautionary measures also play an important role here, whether it is for cancer screening or the appropriate prevention of currently unwanted pregnancies. Women who would also like to have children but have so far been unable to conceive may also come for a consultation. Obstetrics is concerned with the monitoring and supervision of pregnancies.
The aim of general pediatrics is to care for children and adolescents until the end of adolescence while taking into account their family and social environment. Particular attention is given to potential stresses and strains resulting from training and competition.
