Detection and treatment of medical emergencies
Manual medicine works on acute back point (for example, the dreaded “lumbago”) and chronic back pain, as well as joint and muscle ailments. The muscles, tendons and joints are not directly damaged, but they do not work together in cohesion, which is why the sufferer is afflicted with pain and limits to their range and quality of movement. The pain resulting from these “functional” problems can arise quite a distance from the actual source of the problem.
Our specialist staff only accept patients on internal referral. Depending on the concern , we will refer you to manual medicine.
Accurately diagnosing your pain is of paramount importance in our chiropractic care. This includes pinpointing the tissues causing the pain as well as analyzing the static and dynamic mechanisms that are overloading the affected area. Once we have made our diagnosis, we will discuss the prognoses and treatment options with you. With the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal problems, we place great importance on multidisciplinary cooperation.
What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a holistic and natural healing technique used to treat problems with joints and muscles as well as restore, promote and support your general good health. It eliminates blockages in the nervous system with precise spinal manipulations applied by hand – this ultimately restores the balance of your energy flow.
When would you need to visit a chiropractor?
Chiropractic helps with back and neck discomfort and can also be helpful in cases of dizzy spells, headaches, functional heart problems as well as other ailments that are either directly or indirectly related to the musculoskeletal system. The treatment helps you to reach your full potential at work, doing the things you love and in sports.
During the vaccination consultation, we check your vaccination record and draw your attention to any missing recommended vaccinations according to the Swiss vaccination schedule. If desired, we can carry these out on site.
Do you want to modify your diet, increase your performance or become slimmer? Would you like to reach your ideal weight?
We advise individuals who want a healthier diet, adapt their diet to their current situation, (e.g. pregnant women, parents and their children, professionals, postmenopausal women, senior citizens, etc.) or amateur and performance athletes who want to optimally support their athletic ambitions with the right nutrition. We are also the right choice for diabetics (type 1 and type 2), individuals with inflammatory rheumatic disorders, celiac disease or lactose intolerance.
We believe it is important to be hands-on. In addition to the individual consultation, we also support you on site. You will find a more detailed description of this offer here:
- Shopping coaching
- Restaurant coaching
- Take-away food coaching
With certain indicative signs, such as being overweight, with a BMI of over 30 plus secondary diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and malnutrition, the cost for the consultation can be covered by your health insurance. You must, however, present a doctor’s prescription to qualify.
Ultrasound allows us to predominantly examine soft tissue structures in the body. That is why our ultrasound scanner is used to help clarify so many questions.
An examination takes place on the advice of our specialist staff and cannot be booked directly. Ultrasound diagnostics are usually performed as a supplement to an ongoing GP examination.
Hematology (examination of the blood), routine clinical chemistry examinations and urine analyses, contacts to special laboratories for rarer or more complex analyses
Modern X-ray with minimal radiation exposure
