During a stress ECG performed on a stationary bike or treadmill, the heart’s performance and any changes in the cardiovascular system are monitored. The exercise intensity is increased either in stages or continuously until maximum exertion is reached. The test provides insights into blood pressure and heart rate patterns and serves as an important diagnostic tool for detecting circulatory disorders of the heart as well as exercise-induced arrhythmias.

Cooperation between the professional groups involved is needed for the care concept to be implemented successfully: Medical professionals, physiotherapists, specially trained medical assistants and nutrition and diabetes experts. The interdisciplinary organisation of our Medical Center ensures this.

Process

The patient formulates their goals together with their general practitioner and, if required, other experts. This process is repeated together with the patient in an annual GP follow-up. The goal setting is followed by an action catalogue, which is also developed together with the patient.

Manual therapy is a specialized sub-field within physiotherapy for the examination and treatment of the musculoskeletal system. It is used in particular for complex movement disorders that require a thorough examination and assessment.

Manual therapy combines various highly specialized treatment techniques including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises. The treatment is based on an objective worked out together with the patient.

The physiotherapist creates a training program tailored to your needs, which you can access via the Medbase physio.coach app at any time for independent training.

The Medbase Physio Check is suitable for adults. Especially people with sedentary professions or one-sided physical stresses at work can actively improve their posture, strengthen their musculature, and prevent tension with the Physio Check.
